Asymmetric Warfare
It has been embraced by organized crime, as well as terrorist organizations as they find an easy source of funds. Thanks to flawed operating systems such as Windows Vista, and Windows XP/3 thieves and spies can drive a truck through system defenses. The military might of the United States is invulnerable, and the strike capability awesome. The vulnerability of the economic machine that supports and enables that military might is full of so many holes it makes looting the wealth of the nation, attractive and easy. It is the new battlefield that must be won to survive.

The vulnerability of commerce and critical infrastructure has never been so high, as computer systems are becoming more vulnerable, security lapses more frequent and the rewards of computer and communication crime so high. The pace and severity of attacks shows a new sophistication, with organized crime and national interests mounting crippling attacks on the critical economic infrastructure. This is exactly the blueprint revealed by the Chinese military back in the late 1990's. In fact this is an identical presentation I gave to the leaders of Wall Street at the Waldof Astoria ten years ago. Things have got worse not better!
